PERFECT CONDITIONS
Just like the engagement session (which takes place before the wedding), the Day After session allows us to obtain images where we carefully choose each element according to your wishes.
You can freely choose the location of your Day After session, a place that will perfectly match your dreams!
Even if it is far from your wedding venue, travel time will no longer be a constraint for the timing of your big day as it will have passed.
We can choose the time of day to get the perfect light for your images: sunset or sunrise, for example! And if it’s a very iconic and busy place, we can choose to meet before the crowd arrives (for example, if you want a couple’s session at the Trocadéro).
We will even have the freedom to postpone the session if the weather forecast does not suit us.
While rainy wedding photos are also beautiful, you might want something different for this special session: it will be possible to wait for the sun to come back!

After seeing Day Afters in various places with different ideas, I’m sharing my tips for a session that will truly reflect you!
1 - IDEAS FOR CHOOSING THE LOCATION
The choice of location is essential for a successful Day After.
If you live far from your wedding venue, why not explore iconic places in the region of your destination wedding?
Or choose a place that is meaningful for your couple: the spot where you met, the location of the marriage proposal, or even your honeymoon destination.
In any case, choose a place you love and didn’t have time to visit on your wedding day, like Paris, Provence, the seaside, or the mountains.
2 - THE AESTHETIC OF YOUR DAY AFTER
Photos and videos tend to accentuate small flaws, so hiring a professional for beauty preparations (even for the gentlemen) can be very useful! To me, the images that stand out the most and that I find the most beautiful are those where makeup and hairstyle are carefully considered (but this is personal, of course).
If necessary, consider having your dress and suit cleaned and your wedding shoes polished. Plan your jewelry and possibly ask a florist to make you a bouquet!
3 - IDEAS FOR MEMORABLE ACTIVITIES
To make your Day After session even more memorable, why not plan an activity that you enjoy and that makes sense for you?
For example, you can:
- Rent a boat for a ride on a lake, like the beautiful Lake Annecy
- Plan a session with your feet in the water by the sea
- Rent a convertible car and explore Provence and its lavender fields
- Plan a picnic in one of the most beautiful villages in France, like Gordes
- Have a couple’s session in Paris, in front of the Eiffel Tower, and enjoy Parisian cafés
- Let your imagination run wild and choose an activity that makes sense for your couple!
